During the official ceremony, the National Flag of Tajikistan was hoisted in the village of the 5th Asian Coastal Games. The Games will be held in Da Nang, Vietnam from September 24 to October 3, and will feature two Tajik athletes, Nursultan Bozorov and Abdugafur Abdulloev, in jiu-jitsu.

About 5,000 athletes from 43 Asian countries will compete in 22 sports at the fifth Asian Beach Games. The General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia will also be held in Danang, where Muhammadsho Abdulloev will represent the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan.

It should be noted that Tajik athletes won one gold and two bronze medals at the fourth Asian Beach Games in Thailand.
