In honor of Mother’s Day, the National Jiu-Jitsu Federation of Tajikistan held open competitions in this sport among youth and adults in Dushanbe. The competition was attended by about 200 athletes from all over the country. The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the Department of Youth and Sports of the capital, as well as teachers and coaches of the National Jiu-Jitsu Federation. Initially, a number of active athletes of the Jiu-Jitsu Federation were awarded medals and belts of the highest level and a certificate of a candidate for master of sports of the Republic of Tajikistan in jiu-jitsu. The competition between the participants was interesting and in the presence of a large number of fans, as evidenced by a large number of athletes, which indicates that this sport is gaining more and more authority in Tajikistan.
